Welcome to Emmanuel

We seek to be a “grace place” congregation, a people who gather around God’s “means of grace”: Baptism, Scripture, and the Lord’s Supper and faithfully dispense them so that sinners may repent of their sins and be forgiven, faith may be nourished and strengthened, and each of us be equipped to honor God and help our neighbor in the week ahead.

We are a Lutheran congregation, affiliated with the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

We believe in and embrace the Lutheran Confessions as a faithful exposition of what God’s Word teaches.

We believe that God desires all people to be saved and know the truth.

We believe that sinners (of which we number ourselves) are saved by grace (God’s undeserved love) through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus died for all, paying the debt that none of us could.

We believe that Jesus who died rose on the third day victorious over sin, death and the grave, as well as our adversary, the devil.

We believe that the Holy Spirit brings us to and keeps us in saving faith through God’s Word, Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe that through His church God equips and empowers believers to serve Him by serving others and sharing the good news about Jesus.

We would love to graciously welcome you to Emmanuel so that you may experience God’s grace alongside of us, whether it is for a Sunday morning service or an event or activity.

Sunday School

Emmanuel offers Sunday School for children ages 3 years to the 8th grade. Our purpose is to instill in the students a knowledge of the Bible and a love for Jesus. The classes enjoy learning songs that we occasionally sing for the congregation. The students also put on a Christmas program the Sunday before Christmas. The Sunday School year starts the Sunday after Labor Day and ends the Sunday before Memorial Day.
